JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Office Marketing Intern
SALARY: $15.00/hour
HOURS: 15 - 20 hours/ week
DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a creative and motivated Office Marketing Intern to join our team and help create and manage the company’s online presence. We are a locally owned small business that puts people first and moving second.
The right person for this position will be creative, organized, dependable, and provide outstanding customer service. As an integral part of our company, the selected candidate will play a key role in enhancing our online presence, engaging with our community, and contributing to the overall success of our marketing efforts. You will be tasked with managing and creating content for the company’s social media, developing relationships with local businesses, answering phones, responding to customer emails/inquiries, and providing top-notch customer service. We will trust you to work independently and as part of a team.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
- Create visually appealing graphics and content for various marketing materials.
- Ensure brand consistency across all design elements.
- Develop and manage engaging content for our social media platforms.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media.
- Identify and connect with local businesses for potential collaborations and partnerships.
- Attend networking events to expand our brand presence within the community.
- Answer phones, provide exceptional customer service, and address inquiries.
- Manage email correspondence and ensure timely responses.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating moves efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIREMENTS
● Part-time availability with flexible hours.
● Enthusiasm for marketing and a keen interest in the moving industry.
● Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
